Clever questions atheists can’t answer!

Dear Christians,

Are you tired of atheists claiming they are more intellectual and smarter that Christians? Do you want to continue the good fight against the satanic secular machine that has hijacked this nation from being Christian? Look no further! Here are a bunch of clever questions you can ask atheists. When they fail to answer these questions, show them the truth from the Bible and watch as they are lead to the light.

1. If creationists can’t do science, then why do Kent Hovind and Duane T. Gish, who are creation scientists, have professional degrees in science?

2. If dinosaurs turned into birds, why are we not afraid of them?

3. If homosexuality is right, then how come two people of the same sex not produce a child?

4. What purpose do we have if evolution is real?

5. You say Jesus never existed, but have you heard of the Shroud of Turin?

6. Why do we not see humans being born in the zoos from monkeys if we came from monkeys?

7. Why do we go to church if God is not real?

8. How did the Grand Canyon form?

9. Do you know that Jesus loves you?

10. If Christianity is false, then why is it popular?

11. If you say Christianity is not true, then why do hundreds of people continue to become saved every day?

12. Why do we not see half trees and half carrots, fronkeys, and crocoducks if evolution is real?

13. Why is Richard Dawkins afraid to debate Ray Comfort?

14. Did you know Christopher Hitchens was saved before death?

15. Are you aware Ray Comfort disproved atheism with a banana?

16. Why do people laugh at evolutionists?

17. How did the planets form when the Big Bang explosion all of a sudden happen? After all, you don’t see round objects form when something blows up.

18. If evolution is real, how can it explain gravity, angular momentum, human emotions, and why we worship God?

19. How did pond scum make living things appear out of nowhere?

20. How can evolution be true if we don’t see pocket watches or airplanes form by themselves?

21. Did you know that dinosaurs and man lived together?

22. If evolution is real, then why do caring people like Rick Santorum argue that it must be challenged in the classroom?

23. Why are youtube atheists like AronRa and Thunderf00t afraid to debate Ray Comfort?

24. Why do we celebrate Christmas if Christianity is not real?

25. If creationists can’t do science, then why does the website Answersingenesis have proven science articles from creationists that do science?

26. If evolution is true, then why can’t white people compete to be good in basketball like black people? After all, white people can’t jump!

27. Where do you decide to fit God in your everyday life if you don’t believe in him?

28. Why is Christianity the fastest growing religion if it’s false?

29. Do you feel free to commit murders, homosexuality, go to strip bars, steal, commit adultery, and do other sins since you believe there is no God?

30. Why do the fossils say no to evolution?

31. Why did Darwin admit that how the eye formed is impossible?

32. Where did everything come from if there is no God?

33. If there is no God, then why do we have laws that govern us, such as speed limits?

34. Do you know where you are going when you die?

35. Why do we not act like monkeys if it is true we came from monkeys?

36. Why do we display The Ten Commandments in the courtrooms if you say the Bible is not real?

37. Why should be it wrong to rape if God is not real?

38. Why is The Passion of The Christ very high on the Box Office?

39. How can America not be a Christian nation if there are way more churches than mosques?

40. How is the bible not real if it’s the most popular book read by man?

41. How did the moon form?

42. Did you know that famous scientists like Newton, Sir Richard Owen, Einstein, Galileo, and Copernicus were creationists?

43. Why do we not see black people come from white people?

44. Why are fruitflies still fruitflies in the lab experiments if they are claimed to prove evolution?

45. Did you know that the Piltdown Man was a hoax used for Darwinist propaganda?

46. Why do we not see frogs turn into birds?

47. Why is Fox News dishonest if it is a network run by truthful Christians?

48. Why did Hitler fail to make a superior race if evolution is true?

Martin Baker

  1. Larry says:

your questions are the reason why atheists are smarter than you

    • So true but some are actually good ones so good job with those but you’re the worst apologist ever sorry

    • dan says:

I can’t tell whether this is truly a moron posting this and is serious, or if its a joke about how creationists ask stupid question

      • I am not a moron, heathen. This site is completely serious and you atheist heathen scum need to stop attacking us! You are going to burn in Hell for all eternity if you don’t repent in this life. Repent or burn. The choice is yours.

I will be praying for you.

        Yours in Christ,

  2. SC says:

    1. No athiest would dispute that creationists can “do science”. Unless they are bat shit insane.

    2. Not all dinosaurs were t-rex. And quite a lot of the bigger dinosaurs were peaceful plant-eaters. Like elephants. I’m afraid that elephants won’t be careful and could hurt me, but I’m not afraid that they will hunt me in packs.

    3. Many creatures reproduce asexually, i.e. without a partner at all. There’s nothing to suggest that the way humans do it is the only possible solution. And for humans, sex is not just about children, in the same way that this is true for many other species.

    4. Even if creationism were 100% true, evolution would have to exist to support it. Evolution is not a theory of the beginning of life, it’s merely the theory that children are not the same as their parents and that those differences tend to produce different populations over time.

    5. I do not doubt that the Shroud of Turin exists, but even the Vatican accepts that it’s a fake, made much later than it should be. Radio-carbon dating has shown this.

    6. Because we are a different species from monkeys and cannot interbreed with them. We have a different number of chromosomes.

    7. Humans are social animals and feel a need to belong to a structure bigger than themselves.

    8. Water erosion over millions of years.

    9. I know that you believe this. If you wish to know my views on the subject, please do some research on the Albigensian Heresy, which may enlighten you some.

    10. Nobody would claim that McDonalds’ is the true religion, and yet 1% of the world’s population are server food by one every year.

    11. Because they chose to belong to that social group.

    12. Because these animals can’t interbreed. But please – don’t give Monsanto ideas.

    13. I don’t know. Perhaps you should try asking him.

    14. This is anecdotal. What does it have to do with anything?

    15. How can you “disprove atheism”?

    16. Clearly they have nothing better to do.

    17. Because the Big Bang is based on the book of Genesis and was originally thought up by a priest. If you don’t believe in the Big Bang then I’m afraid to say that I don’t believe that you believe in the bible.

    18. Evolution is a biological theory. It has nothing to do with gravity (physics), angular momentum (mathematics), human emotions (psychology) or religion (psychology again).

    19. Over years, multi-cellular organisms developed that developed specialised cells that turned into limbs, eyes, etc.

    20. Pocket watches and airplanes are machines. If evolution were not true, new diseases such as AIDS would not arrive.

    21. Do you have any evidence of this?

    22. If Christianity is real, why can you be executed for it in nations – such as Saudi Arabia – that are American allies?

    23. Again, have you tried asking them?

    24. Christmas is a Christian “takeover” of earlier ceremonies such as Yule, Saturnalia, and so on. It was kept at that year for political reasons, i.e. not to annoy too much the “pagans” who had been “converted”.

    25. I refer you to the answer that I made some moments ago.

    26. Because you don’t get to choose what traits get passed on.

    27. That’s a bit like asking a blind man whether he’d like to go to an art exhibition or a silent movie.

    28. Worldwide, it isn’t. That would be Islam you’re thinking of there. But thanks for playing.

    29. Atheism does not automatically make you a good person. Many of the most heinous crimes in history have been committed “with God on our side”.

    30. Do they? Do they really?

    31. Because Darwin’s original theory of evolution was that organisms evolved by the most minor steps. We’ve since proved that this is not necessarily the case; the existence of genetically modified crops proves this.

    32. Science does not claim to answer the question of whether there is or is not a god. If there is a god, and this being created the universe, science is interested in documenting how it was done. There is no conclusive answer to that question yet. Science does not in itself need for there to be a god, but also it does not claim that there is or is not one. Science is like the CSI unit coming in on a murder case. It can tell you where the bullet came from, what type of bullet it was, and where it went, but it cant tell you who pulled the trigger.

    33. Because people are stupid, obnoxious or daft. There were laws, remember, even before the bible existed.

    34. The answer will vary according to religious beliefs.

    35. There are many different species of “monkeys”, including chimpanzees, organutans, bonobos… It’s arguable how much of that behaviour is because they live in the jungle and how much because they are monkeys. Nobody has yet done enough experiments to determine that, mainly because they would have to be exceptionally cruel ones.

    36. Because they’re quite a good set of laws and are some of the oldest that we have. Also, aren’t there actually fourteen in the bible?

    37. Because hurting other people for no good reason is generally considered rather caddish.

    38. Why not? It’s a well made film.

    39. That’s relevant how?

    40. How is Hercule Poirot not real if Agatha Christie is the second most popular books?

    41. Nobody actually knows for sure, but what exactly does that have to do with evolution?

    42. To the best of my knowledge, Einstein was an atheist, and Newton dabbled very heavily in alchemy and the occult. But even so, none of them worked on evolution.

    43. We do, it’s called inter-racial marriage.

    44. Because generally speaking they’re not testing whether fruitflies can evolve into another species, but whether fruitflies will develop resistance to diseases or cancers or what have you. In other words, using them for more useful things than trying to prove or disprove the theory that is the entire basis of the work that they are doing.

    45. Essentially Piltdown Man was a hoax used to earn someone a lot of money. A bit like those TV preachers that sell salvation.

    46. Why should frogs turn into birds? If they did, it would take them a long time.

    47. I don’t have the space here to fact check every story Fox News runs. But let’s assume that there exists such a thing as liars, and that there also exists such a thing as Christians. Let’s also assume that the two things are not mutually exclusive.

    48. Hitler wasn’t interested in making a superior race, he felt that he was already part of one and that he and his friends should really be in charge. Of everything. Also, making a “superior race” would take a really long time. And evolution suggests that ethnic diversity would be the best way to do it, so in fact to create a superior race, Hitler should have been enforcing inter-racial marriage instead of following “racial purity”. But then Hitler was a vile, evil human being. Whose justification was that he was doing God’s work.

  3. I can answer all these. Some are actually ones th hat don’t have a good answer for atheists, but you didn’t come up with them yourself. They’ve been asked before. The other ones, for the most part, suck and any atheist can answer them.Come on.

    • Martin Baker says:

      Dear friend,
These are genuine and thoughtful questions that atheists like Dawkins and Sagan have refused to answer. And atheists can’t give the right answer for the questions they are given.
      Martin Baker

  4. barrydesborough says:

The first of your many fails is that it is not for atheists to answer questions about biology. You should ask biologists, Some of them are theists and some not. The answers you get will be the same either way.

Here is evidence that puts evolution beyond any reasonable or sane doubt. It is my FAQ. Get back to me if you have any questions about it. http://erv-faq-for-creationists.wikispaces.com/ERVs+FAQs+from+Creationists

  5. There can’t be any way this isnt satire.

“26. If evolution is true, then why can’t white people compete to be good in basketball like black people? After all, white people can’t jump!”

    Seriously!

    • Bjorn, this site is not satire, it is as legitimate as Jesus. Martin and I are True Christians doing the work of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Can’t you get a sense of humor? That specific question was partly intended as a joke. However, it is also partly serious. If evolution were true, we would expect white and black people to become equally good at the sport..instead it’s dominated by blacks. You can’t explain that.

Embrace Jesus or be cast into Hell.

      Yours in Christ,

      Jim Solouki

      • Doc Feral says:

//If evolution were true, we would expect white and black people to become equally good at the sport..instead it’s dominated by blacks.//

        Not at all true.

      • ever heard of humor heathen? I’ll be praying for you.

        Jim SOlouki

      • Eric says:

Lets face it that question does nothing but prove an evolutionist’s point that people coming from different areas of the planet has evovled different skill sets to better adapt to there enviroment. Our skill sets are not athletic but more intellectual based, aka coming up with a religion that will completly brain wash a individual and condition them to be inferior. Its pretty easy to convince someone of something when they have learned from a early age that they were never good enough and will never be good enough. Now if anyone needs me ill be in the land of Nod, getting my surf board ready for a huge flood.

      • Evolution is a lie created by Satan.

  6. Geoff says:

I just love that you lumped going to strip bars with murder.

  7. josh says:

This has got to be the single dumbest thing I’ve ever read

    • you have got to be the single dumbest person I have talked to tonight. Repent or burn in Hell.

      Jim Solouki

      • Melissa Quintanilla says:

I will answer 4 of these questions to prove to you that we do not need a fictional being to answer your questions.

        1. We do not prevent creationists from getting degrees in science, everyone is free to get degrees. If you are asking if their ideas are accepted as fact, then no they are not.

        2. Because the majority of birds pose no threat to human beings, many are small and virtually harmless, just because they are the descendants of the mighty dinosaurs does not mean that we should be afraid of them.

        3. It is biologically impossible for two homosexuals to have a child, however homosexuality is something you are born with due to genetics and/or hormones. It is a natural occurrence that happens in many species across the Animal Kingdom. In addition to homosexuality being natural, several studies show that pairs of homosexual animals handle taking care of young offspring (abandoned or alone) quite well, sometimes even better than hetero pairs.

        4. Objectively, there is no meaning in life outside of passing down our genes to ensure the survival of our species. When thinking of the meaning of life subjectively, it varies from person to person. For example, you may view your life meaningful because it is a blessing from God while I view life meaningful as it is a journey of learning and discovery

I can answer more questions if you’d like, all you have to do is reply, but i wanted to show you that we are capable of answering your “Impossible” questions. I do not hate you for believing in God for it is your right, but I ask you to be more open minded of us (Athiests or Agnostic-thiest/athiests) and other religious people (Islam, Judaism, Paganism).

  8. Lurr says:

I took some time to leave a detailed answer for just about every single question (Right up until the end – I got to the point that I contemplated killing myself for stooping to a low enough level to take this seriously)

    1. If creationists can’t do science, then why do Kent Hovind and Duane T. Gish, who are creation scientists, have professional degrees in science?

Having a professional degree means you can at least understand the concept. Duane T. Gish, you at least have some ground on – He actually got degrees in the correct field. However, name three noteworthy things that he can actually put his name on. Because unless there is an actual discovery/development that can be attributed to him, he’s just someone that went through the courses and passed his tests. When you do research on him, you know what comes up? The fact that he’s famous for debating others and promoting creationism. As for meaningful discoveries? *Crickets* (Please feel free to correct me and reference a productive discovery if I missed something)

As for Kent Hovind? Was the author of this post even trying? The guy has degrees in Christian education and ministry (Not even counting the fact that they’re from unaccredited institutions) That’s…Not exactly a “scientific” degree. In fact, I would call it quite the opposite. Not even getting into the financial scandals, although if you want an interesting read, here’s a lovely link: http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/hovind-decision.html

    Not even trying.

    2. If dinosaurs turned into birds, why are we not afraid of them?

Because birds do not actively try to kill and eat us, and therefore, do not pose an actual threat would be a wonderful start. Also, nobody that understands evolution believes they “Turned into” birds, but now, we’re arguing semantics.

    3. If homosexuality is right, then how come two people of the same sex not produce a child?

If heterosexuality is universally right, how come some people – regardless of faith, political affiliation, or ethnicity – are sterile and, therefore, also cannot produce a child? Also, why are we associating “bearing a child” with “right”? We’re a bit crowded, population-wise, but I digress.

    4. What purpose do we have if evolution is real?

None. And that’s the beauty of it. There is no set goal. There’s lists of suggestions, but there’s no ultimate goal. There is only what you decide to pursue, and I think that’s beautiful.

    5. You say Jesus never existed, but have you heard of the Shroud of Turin?

Yeah. I’ve also heard that the Shroud of Turin has been heavily debated – nobody actually knows where it came from, and most research has pointed to the shroud having originated between the mid 1200’s and a little before 1400 – around the Middle Ages – which is a pretty far cry from 33 AD.

    6. Why do we not see humans being born in the zoos from monkeys if we came from monkeys?

This is at least a LITTLE more on-the-mark with how evolution works, in that evolutionary progression works from generation to generation, rather than in the same being. That’s about all the credit I can give this argument. In order for this to happen, a rather large amount of time would need to pass. Let’s also consider that evolution works with the environment – being born in a zoo isn’t exactly a breeding ground for species to either thrive above normal or fall behind and, eventually, die off. There’s a giant list of reasons why this is wrong, but I’ll stick with that, because it’s about midnight at my time of typing this up, and I’d like to get to work tomorrow.

    7. Why do we go to church if God is not real?

Why do we watch cable television if we know the majority of it isn’t real? Why do we watch reality TV if we know it’s scripted? Because either that’s become our reality, or because it gives us something to do. This is…my god. This is a giant “So many people believe it, it CAN’T be wrong!” So many people believed in Geocentrism too, and that didn’t turn out too well.

    8. How did the Grand Canyon form?

Erosion. Running water passing over a surface, over time, will wear down the surface. Over a long enough time, it will erode very, very, very far down, into, as we see, a canyon.

    9. Do you know that Jesus loves you?

I’d love him too, if he’d stop trying to push his landscaping services on me.
(Cue canned laughter and Seinfeld bass track)

No but seriously, someone loving you isn’t always the best thing. If you had someone in your life that told you that you’re not allowed to masturbate, look at certain people, think about other people, and had to think of and accept them as your personal savior, your next phone call would be to 9-1-1. Also, why is this even a question to someone that doesn’t take the bible seriously? If you’re going to make an argument, use some ground that can’t be wiped away with “You only have one questionable source”

    10. If Christianity is false, then why is it popular?

Once again. Everyone thought Geocentrism was fact. You tell enough people the same thing over and over again – soon enough, they take it as fact. Popularity =\= correctness. You could very well be the incorrect majority.

    11. If you say Christianity is not true, then why do hundreds of people continue to become saved every day?

Again – you tell enough people the same thing—You know what, I’m shorthanding this – any time that explanation is necessary, I’m placing a -1-. So instead of typing the whole thing up, I’m just going to put -1-, and it will mean the exact same thing.

Also, the prerequisites for being saved are as follows:
Step 1: Be told about Jesus.
    Step 2: Believe in Jesus.
    Step 3: ????
    Step 4: PROFIT!!

Not exactly the most exclusive club of people. I can also claim that hundreds of people renounce their faith every day – without hard numbers to back it up, it doesn’t stack up as an argument. On top of that, it doesn’t matter (See -1-)

    12. Why do we not see half trees and half carrots, fronkeys, and crocoducks if evolution is real?

Did you ever actually study evolution, or is this all second-hand information? I can’t even begin to describe how incorrect this is. Transitional species involve an actual transition – you’re asking to take generation X and generation X+200 (This is a rough example, don’t actually take these numbers down.) and mash them together. That is ridiculous.

    13. Why is Richard Dawkins afraid to debate Ray Comfort?

Because as far as I know, 49/50 states have laws against pummeling the mentally handicapped – the exception being Texas, who wouldn’t have a police horse if such a law — alright, now I’m being an arse.

In all seriousness, Ray Comfort doesn’t provide debate. For one, his Facebook page SEVERELY DISCOURAGES any kind of discourse, whether it’s logical or irrational, and shows quite a bit of hypocrisy, as well as a total disregard for privacy, if you got to see his little “I took a selfie today” post targeting a random homosexual adult, but let’s get off of that topic. Let’s actually discuss one very, very simple concept: People that believe they have the absolute answer (And before anyone says otherwise – no, people who actually studied these “evil” sciences do NOT believe they have the final answers, but merely pieces to a pretty impressive puzzle) will not accept anything that may compromise said answer. Debating Ray Comfort would actually be LESS productive than screaming at a wall.

    14. Did you know Christopher Hitchens was saved before death?

    ….is this a joke, or?
On top of this being wrong – Some of his last written words were, quote, “redemption and supernatural deliverance appears even more hollow and artificial to me than it did before.” – even if it were true, it seriously doesn’t change the facts. One person making a life decision. Woohoo. Let’s write a book about it.

    15. Are you aware Ray Comfort disproved atheism with a banana?

If you take that explanation seriously, I have no words to say to you that I believe you’ll actually comprehend. I cannot think of a worse argument – although I’m sure I’ll see it by the time I finish this list.

    16. Why do people laugh at evolutionists?

Hey, you tell me. Last I checked, Christians (And mostly, Christian politicians) have become the butt of the joke in the past few decades.

    17. How did the planets form when the Big Bang explosion all of a sudden happen? After all, you don’t see round objects form when something blows up.

Because we have our own gravitational field that doesn’t allow for that. The earth is not perfectly round. That is NOT difficult to comprehend. Once you get those facts metabolized, it becomes really easy to see that it just takes a snowball effect of asteroids clumping together…Although that explanation is too basic to really do the theory justice.

    18. If evolution is real, how can it explain gravity, angular momentum, human emotions, and why we worship God?

Because those aren’t covered in the same field of study, because they don’t, for the most part, encompass that same field of study. Do you even science?

    19. How did pond scum make living things appear out of nowhere?

I wish I could take this argument seriously. I really wish I could. But again, complete lack of understanding on how evolution works.

    20. How can evolution be true if we don’t see pocket watches or airplanes form by themselves?

    are you actually serious?
This has to be a troll. Someone please tell me this is a troll. Please. Nobody – other Christians included – is that stupid.

Mechanical objects are not natural. They’re a result of humans taking the materials given to them and adapting to their environment. They’re a byproduct of us. That’s it.

    21. Did you know that dinosaurs and man lived together?

Cool. Show me the proof, friend.

    22. If evolution is real, then why do caring people like Rick Santorum argue that it must be challenged in the classroom?

    WOAH WOAH WOAH.
NOW YOU’RE JUST SCREWING WITH ME.

Who….Who even…Who even remotely thinks Rick Santorum is a “Caring” individual? There is literally no definition of the word “Caring” that encompasses him.

Real answer: Because it panders to the demographic most likely to vote for him, and sways any swing votes that may agree into his favor. Because that’s how politics work.

    23. Why are youtube atheists like AronRa and Thunderf00t afraid to debate Ray Comfort?

Literally nobody is actually afraid to debate Ray Comfort. The only reason nobody does it is because the man is a broken record. He doesn’t have answers – only challenges and the Bible. And that is, quite possibly, the weakest defense you can have in an actual intellectual debate.

    24. Why do we celebrate Christmas if Christianity is not real?

Winter solstice. I’m not even going to get started on this.

    25. If creationists can’t do science, then why does the website Answersingenesis have proven science articles from creationists that do science?

Nah. You’re actually joking. I’ll take the rest of this as seriously as possible, but are you serious? Are you actually serious?

First off, I’d like some sources – I’d prefer not to scour AiG, considering that, what I HAVE found with their name on it has told me that this is a nice, fruitful little group of clowns, destined to cherry-pick information that makes them look more correct.

    26. If evolution is true, then why can’t white people compete to be good in basketball like black people? After all, white people can’t jump!

This actually doesn’t need an answer, and I’m pretty much calling this entire thing satire. All I will say? Steve Nash.

    27. Where do you decide to fit God in your everyday life if you don’t believe in him?

Nowhere. I’ll use the space for information on networking, music, gaming, and things that actually matter to me.

    28. Why is Christianity the fastest growing religion if it’s false?

    -1-

    29. Do you feel free to commit murders, homosexuality, go to strip bars, steal, commit adultery, and do other sins since you believe there is no God?

(Other than Homosexuality, because seriously, we’re still attributing this as a crime?) No. Is your belief in God the only thing keeping you from this? Because I think that, alone, should show the stability of one’s moral fiber more than any religion ever will.

    30. Why do the fossils say no to evolution?

    Wha.
Fossils don’t talk. This is stupid.

They actually support it to a degree, however, the argument stays – Christians whine about transitional fossils, science provides them, they either claim they’re faked or they state that more transitional fossils are needed.

    31. Why did Darwin admit that how the eye formed is impossible?

When and where? I’d love a source on that, preferably somewhere away from AiG.

    32. Where did everything come from if there is no God?

We don’t know. We may never know. We can only hypothesize. The bigger question is, why are we bothering with this information when we have an entire population to uphold now?

    33. If there is no God, then why do we have laws that govern us, such as speed limits?

Because humans tend to crave some form of structure, and other humans like to capitalize on that fact.

    34. Do you know where you are going when you die?

Yep. Into a furnace to be cremated to have my ashes scattered wherever I please.

    35. Why do we not act like monkeys if it is true we came from monkeys?

First, what planet do you live on where you haven’t seen humans that act like monkeys? It certainly isn’t here.

Second, social constructs. Plus, we exhibit similar thought processe—wait. Right. This demographic doesn’t acknowledge these studies. Well, regardless…

    36. Why do we display The Ten Commandments in the courtrooms if you say the Bible is not real?

Because some little clown named McCarthy decided that he’d use the US’s irrational fear of Communism to the benefit of the Christian church and compromise what this country originally stood for.

    37. Why should be it wrong to rape if God is not real?

Because you’re forcibly imposing your will upon someone else that hasn’t given consent to it….you know…kind of like indoctrination?

    38. Why is The Passion of The Christ very high on the Box Office?

Because if you make a movie marketed to a specific demographic that buys into everything marketed for that specific demographic, you’re pretty much not going to fail. How has Christian Rock not died out? It’s the opposite of good.

    39. How can America not be a Christian nation if there are way more churches than mosques?

Because First Amendment. Also, there are more banks than churches, and you can NOT tell me a just God is paying attention to a bank when they can get away with charging someone 35 bucks for not having money. So, there’s that.

    40. How is the bible not real if it’s the most popular book read by man?

Nobody said the Bible doesn’t exist. The book clearly exists. Doesn’t make the events real.

The Harry Potter series, the Twilight series…Both of which, extremely popular (Although there’s really no reason Twilight ever should have made it out of manuscript form) and neither of which are remotely factual.

    41. How did the moon form?

    http://lmgtfy.com/?q=How+the+moon+formed
It’s literally at the top of the front page.

    42. Did you know that famous scientists like Newton, Sir Richard Owen, Einstein, Galileo, and Copernicus were creationists?

Newton: Believed that worshipping Christ as God was idolatry – also, famous for a field that doesn’t even CLOSELY encompass creationism.
Einstein: Actually Agnostic. Also, physics is not fundamentally relevant to creationism.
Galileo: Roman Catholic. Also, PHYSICS IS NOT FUNDAMENTALLY RELEVANT TO CREATIONISM.
Copernicus: Once again—-You know what, sod it.

    43. Why do we not see black people come from white people?

    Have you studied genetics or?

    44. Why are fruitflies still fruitflies in the lab experiments if they are claimed to prove evolution?

BECAUSE EVOLUTION DOESN’T WORK THAT WAY. How are these people touting intelligent design when they’ve clearly never heard of either term on its own?!

    45. Did you know that the Piltdown Man was a hoax used for Darwinist propaganda?

The wonderful thing about science is that, because every single researched fact stands on its own, this is simply a hoax in an otherwise correct field. This is actually the only relatively correct statement in this entire lineup, and its implications are so minor, it’s not even worth mentioning.

    46. Why do we not see frogs turn into birds?

    ….Are you serious?

    47. Why is Fox News dishonest if it is a network run by truthful Christians?

Because people lie to protect their own interests.

    48. Why did Hitler fail to make a superior race if evolution is true?

Because it DOESN’T. WORK. LIKE. THAT.

Tl;dr. you got me. I’ll gladly believe this is all satire, even if it’s for my own well being, but this is actually ridiculous, either way, and I had some time to kill.

If this seriously isn’t satire, then may FSM someday cast his noodly blessings upon you. He loves you, even if you don’t believe in him, and he’d be the first to dive in a pit of boiling water to ensure you never went hungry.
    Ramen.

  9. James Belisle says:

    Dear CSC,
I can certainly appreciate any sincere attempts made by Christians to persuade others to put their Faith in Christ Jesus but the premise AND the content of what you have presented here are so counter-productive AND unfounded that reading it is like fingernails on the chalkboard of my own soul.
As the Bible CLEARLY states (“But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” -1 Corinthians 2:14 NKJV), there is zero chance of Faith ever being imparted by human effort (ie. oral arguments; threats or proclamations of damnation; high-minded, self-righteous condescension, etc.) and, without Faith, it is impossible to please God.

More importantly, of all that the Scriptures have to say to those who DO Believe, NOTHING is more adamantly or evidently expressed than the reality that God reveals Himself to whom He will and has Mercy on whom He will, according to HIS purposes and good will – not mans’ – and that His doing so has ALWAYS been completely independent of anything ANY of us have ever done, will do or CAN do or think.
My point being that your arguments are not only futile and vain, they are presumptuous and, quite honestly, lend a great deal of credence to the thought that Christians don’t use their brains.

That being said, I must admit that I recently made the error of joining the debate on Creation vs. Evolution. It didn’t take long, however, for me to come to the conclusion that I was actually trying to achieve something that ought not ever be attempted by any recipient of the GRACE and DIVINE REVELATION by which I, myself, came to Believe.

    Some food for thought, sir…
John 17 New King James Version (NKJV)
    Jesus Prays for Himself

Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: “Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You, as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him. And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do. And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.
    Jesus Prays for His Disciples
“I have manifested Your name to the men whom You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours, You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word. Now they have known that all things which You have given Me are from You. For I have given to them the words which You have given Me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came forth from You; and they have believed that You sent Me.
“I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours. And all Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine, and I am glorified in them. Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are. While I was with them in the world, I kept them in Your name. Those whom You gave Me I have kept; and none of them is lost except the son of perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled. But now I come to You, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have My joy fulfilled in themselves. I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth.
    Jesus Prays for All Believers

“I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will[e] believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.

“Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. O righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me. And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.”

Matthew 7 New King James Version (NKJV)
    Do Not Judge

“Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye? Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

“Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces.”

I Hope and BELIEVE that, of all that the Father has destined for Glory and Salvation, NONE will be lost… but, as for you, I am Praying that God will give you, Wisdom and Understanding… and Humility.
Love these who do not Believe, even as He Loved us when we were His enemies.

21 Great Scientists who Believed The Bible
by Ann Lamont on February 10, 1998

There is a widespread, but erroneous, view today that real scientists do not accept the truth of the Bible.

There is a widespread, but erroneous, view today that real scientists do not accept the truth of the Bible. It is therefore interesting to learn that many of the founding fathers of modern science were Bible-believing Christians, as were many of the less-well-known scientists who expanded our scientific knowledge. This book tells of the life and work of some of these great scientists who were Bible-believing Christians.

Each of these scientists either publicly acknowledged the Creator, or opposed evolutionary thinking, or, in many cases, did both. These scientists found their faith in God’s Word to be perfectly compatible with their scientific investigations. In some cases, their faith sustained them through times of physical hardship and professional difficulties. Samuel Morse, the American who invented the telegraph and Morse code, endured many frustrating years during which his ideas were rejected. Although he was penniless and frequently hungry, Morse never stopped trusting God because he believed that God’s guiding hand was on his life.

The influence of their faith on the development of science was more direct, providing a framework of thinking which helped lead them to their discoveries.

In other cases, the influence of their faith on the development of science was more direct, providing a framework of thinking which helped lead them to their discoveries. For example, astronomers had charted the paths of the planets across the sky, but could not make sense of the complicated paths they saw. Many scientists gave up searching for a simple logical pattern. After all, they reasoned, hadn’t the universe emerged from chaos anyway? In contrast, German astronomer Johannes Kepler reasoned that since the universe was designed by an intelligent Creator, it should function according to some logical pattern. To him, the idea of a chaotic universe was inconsistent with God’s wisdom. Kepler’s Christian faith led him to a way of thinking which eventually enabled him to solve the riddle of planetary motion.

This book includes scientists who have worked since Charles Darwin made evolutionary thinking popular. This should clearly show that confidence in the Bible was not replaced by Darwin’s ideas. Those scientists who have remained faithful to the Bible since Darwin’s time have continued to find that the Bible and scientific investigation are completely compatible.

While the contradiction between evolutionary thinking and the Bible certainly provides theological grounds for rejecting evolution, many famous scientists have argued strongly against evolution on scientific grounds. These include the brilliant French chemist, Louis Pasteur.

Spontaneous generation-the idea that a living organism can arise spontaneously from non-living matter is an essential part of the theory of evolution. Despite all the efforts of evolutionary scientists, not one case of spontaneous generation has been observed. Pasteur’s scientific findings clearly demonstrated the opposite-that life comes from life. Pasteur’s findings conflicted with the idea of spontaneous generation (as do scientific results since). Consequently, Louis Pasteur was a strong opponent of Darwin’s theory.

While each of the scientists discussed in this book was a creationist or Bible-believing Christian (or both), none of them was perfect in his professional, spiritual, or personal life. Although they greatly advanced our scientific knowledge, many followed wrong courses and blind alleys on the way to their scientific discoveries. Many of their findings have been modified as a result of subsequent investigations. Such modifications are part of normal scientific investigation, and in no way diminish the magnitude of these great men’s contributions.

Similarly, some of these men seem to have been wrong regarding some details of their religious beliefs. They came from numerous Christian denominations and held differing views on many, often minor, religious issues. However, they all seem to have believed that Jesus died on the cross so we could be forgiven for our wrongdoings. They believed that God created the universe and everything in it. They rejected the idea that these things came about by random, purposeless events.

Occasionally, we see flaws in the character of some of these men. For example, Isaac Newton’s confidence in his own findings and his eagerness to continue on to new discoveries caused him to be impatient with those who delayed his work because they were slow to understand it. He also tended to view others working in the same field as rivals rather than colleagues. While these tendencies are regrettable, Newton’s strong faith in God is evident in his writings. Such shortcomings merely serve to emphasize the universal sinfulness of man and our need to not only acknowledge God as our Creator and Saviour, but also to rely on Him daily as Lord over every aspect of our lives. It is probably an encouragement to know that these great men struggled with such human problems as pride and impatience just as we do, and like us, needed God’s help in these areas.

The 21 scientists (including the two Wright brothers) discussed at length in this book are merely a selection of some of the genuinely great scientists who accepted the truth of the Bible. For a list of others, see the Appendix. Those discussed here in detail made contributions in the fields of astronomy, biology, chemistry, electronics, geology, mathematics, medicine, oceanography, and physics. They include some of the greatest names in science. Despite some mistakes, their words, actions and attitudes clearly identified them as men of faith who had a high regard for the Bible. An open-minded assessment of the life and work of these men should once and for all, show that many real scientists do accept the truth of the Bible.

After doing some research on the internet, I found the answer to Q 13
    13. Why is Richard Dawkins afraid to debate Ray Comfort?

The answer is simple: Richard Dawkins has Idiophobia.

  12. Dylan says:

These questions are thoughtless, but I’m not surprised that a Christian extremist composed them. These all can either be answered or are too poorly-constructed to be answered. This website is utter rubbish. For example, saying that homosexuality is a sin is evil and just one of many reasons why religion spreads hate in this world. As for how atheists like us can say murder is wrong? We don’t need some made-up megalomaniacal evil ‘god.’ Atheists are moral on their own. More so than you because we accept homosexuals, women, and other innocent people. We also don’t comdemn innocent people based on their rational scientific views in opposition to the primitive superstition known as religion. We are more intelligent because we contribute to society and extinguish hatred. Why do the planets rotate? We didn’t know. Religious people used the ‘God of the scientific gaps’ explanation. Then scientists, whether atheist or religious but also moral (atheists accept all who are moral, whereas you extremists hate all who don’t agree with your fallacious views) fill in the gaps. Now we know why the planets rotate. The God of the gaps explanation is closing in every day and soon, religion will become completely nullified…there is a rapid trend toward non-religious scientific views as we begin to see that science provides us with the ability to break free from such evil primitive superstition. Sorry, but you just made a fool of yourself with this rubbish based on nothing empirical or of any intellectual value.
