Please help me in my quest to save homosexuals and bring them to Christ. I suggest a new strategy for curing faggots. It is a simple yet effective approach. First, we fit all homosexual males in America with chastity belts. We lock said males in these belts to keep them from engaging in sodomy. Then we take young strong men who are also faggots in chastity belts and parade them in front of these males. They will become sexually aroused, and the chastity belt will cause them pain. Eventually, from the steady influx of pain from their chastity belts, they will be cured of their homosexuality. Negative reinforcement at its finest.

The bible is an old book filled with old morals designed to guide an old civilization with an old culture. While much of it may have been relevant back then, with the advances in technology and the knowledge we are uncovering about the universe, these traditional beliefs are going to have to change to fit the world today. If so, how do we know that these ‘inspired’ Men actually wrote down what God told them to? Maybe they had a beer and wrote about whatever came into their heads. The Bible is God’s word *Interpreted* by man. And it is an interpretation from thousands of years ago. Before people knew as much as we know now about the universe. And people now even have different interpretations of those thousand year old interpretations. And they are preached to by people with yet another slightly different interpretation. Sounds like a classic game of telephone to me.
Somehow people seem to forget that as a culture evolves and learns, its belief systems should evolve as well to keep up. Many phenomena that used to be considered supernatural such as lightning, fire, earthquakes, and volcanoes, have been explained by modern science. And the supernatural element has been explained and the phenomena is considered natural. God is used as a placeholder for those things that we cannot explain.
God is the personification of all of the laws that govern the universe. The laws weren’t written, they are inherent. What religions such as Christianity fail to see is that what their concept of God stands for is the same concept that other religions describe. The other religions just have different names and different histories from which their beliefs, stories, and customs have grown from. It is extremely arrogant to say that Christianity is the only religion that is correct. And its even worse because it is based off of an interpretation of a man-made concept from thousands of years ago.
Forcing any religious belief on somebody else is wrong because its anybody’s guess who’s correct. So nobody has the right to say anybody else is wrong about a religion because all religions are based on explanations of unknown things in different ways. This ‘solution’ to ‘fix a faggot’ once again is a perfect example of why it is morally wrong.

The proposal of affixing every homosexual male in the country with a BDSM fixture is certainly a novel one but what you are proposing is not negative reinforcement. Presenting an aversive stimulus for the sake of eliminating an unwanted behavior is positive punishment.

Use of pain in any way or form is considered torture. They used to do electro-shock therapy to insane people in insane asylums in hopes of curing their mental illnesses, and they had no say in this.
